CHARLOTTE WHARTON, PSA,
CM, will give a workshop at the
Coastal Maine Artist Workshops, Rockland, Maine. Charlotte has exhibited her artwork
internationally and has won more than four dozen top awards in juried shows. Her
outstanding work has been reproduced in Rockport Press books, Artists Magazine, and the
North Light Book Club Magazine. She has conducted workshops throughout the United States,
Europe, and Anguilla.

"Nature's Rhythms: The Coast
in Oil and Pastel"

Using the Munsell Color System and the "Language of Artistic Energy",
Charlotte will impart how each student can interpret and paint their own
unique sense of nature's rhythms. Study will include and go beyond the
standard elements of design and composition to cover the inherent energy
of shape, linear directives, light, value, and color relationships.
Charlotte will provide demonstrations, lectures, instruction at the
easel, personal and group critiques, and a packet of information covered
in the workshop. Pastel and Oils. All levels of development.
